Ingredients:  Baobab oil (Adansonia digitata), Hawaiian Mac Nut oil (Macadamia ternifolia Seed Oil), Argan Oil (Argania spinosa), and essential oils of Frankincense papyrifera (Bowswellia papyrifera), Jasmine (Jasmine grandiflorum), Clary Sage (Salvia sclerea), Neroli (Citrus aurantium)

2 oz bottle $30.00
4 oz bottle $50.00

To use: Mist body with hydrosol or apply just after stepping out of shower or bath (and before toweling dry). I like to use this for my arms, chest, neck, and decolletage areas. Having your skin damp before you apply will help it to go on thinner and spread over your skin better. *For lower body see note below.

Baobab Oil – The Baobab tree grows in Africa, and is sometimes called the “Tree of life.”  Baobab oil is pressed from the seeds of it’s fruit (which resembles cacao pods), it has a slight mildly warm aroma. It’s a thicker oil but deeply penetrating for skin, and absorbs nicely, it doesn’t lay on the skin too long. It offers the omega 3 essential fatty acids which are particularly healing for the skin, and help to seal in moisture and protect the skins barrier.

Hawaiian Mac Nut oil – Macadamia nuts are nutritious both inside and out. This delicious oil is a skin care champion. Hawaiian Mac nut oil tests high in oleic (omega 9) and palmitoleic (omega 7) oils which are very moisturizing and anti-inflammatory, healing dry skin and discouraging to the formation of wrinkles. Also in it’s profile are palmitic, stearic, and linoleic oils which are high in essential fatty acids that protect the lipid barrier of our skin helping to keep moisture in the skin, stearic acid is particularly protective of the skin — it helps to thicken our outer protective layer, and palmitic acid is very regenerative and skin healing. As you can see from it’s profile, mac nut is a skin oil champion.

Argan – Argan oil is sometimes called “liquid gold,” and is handmade by women in Morocco in a traditional, time-consuming process. It is made from the kernels of the Argan tree. It’s a light oil and doesn’t clog pores, yet is deeply nourishing. It has anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce skin inflammations. It is rich in Vitamin E which is a potent anti-oxidant and help reduce damaging effects of free radicals. Argan oil has a slightly nutty flavor.

These three carrier oils mixed together offer a good level of hydration to the skin, pulling moisture deep into the layers while protecting the skin’s barrier and preventing water loss from the skin.

I scented it with my “orange lifesaver” synergy which includes Frankincense papyrifera — a frankincense with a citrus orangey scent giving you the mind calming benefits of frankincense along with the uplifting benefits of oranges.

Neroli is in this blend, it’s an exotic oil from the orange flower blossom and is very healing for the complexion. Jasmine is in the blend, jasmine’s sweet scent encourages us to follow our heart and embrace our desires. I rounded this out with clary sage, an oil that helps us trust our intuition and dream more.

Orange Lifesaver synergy overall is a centering, enlivening, and soothing blend  — and a very pleasant scent!

*Due to the cost of the essential oils in this blend, using it over your entire body is costly. Instead I like to use it for upper body only; for lower body I like to use a single carrier oil, jojoba is my favorite, sesame oil is nice if you are in a cooler climate during the winter months. Add a 1% dilution of a single essential oil such as frankincense or lavender. A 1% dilution is 6 drops per ounce. Using this lower body oil from the waist down will be a cost effective way to moisturize your entire body.
